This is a big one. We recently released Sections Layouts, a fun, new way to edit your website. Trust us, using a Sections Layout will help you transform your homepage.
In fact, this feature release was so big that we held a live webinar to explain how you can use it to do your own homepage makeover. If you missed it, you can watch the webinar now!
Step-by-step tutorial: How to create sections on your website
Stay tuned, this is just the beginning for the new Sections Layouts feature! In the coming months, keep your eyes peeled for the following:
Let's face it: Some original eCatholic themes are showing their age. Since some of our "older" themes are not compatible with the Sections Layouts feature, now is a great time to upgrade to one of our featured themes.
A majority of your site's traffic likely happens on a mobile device. That's why we listened to your feedback and tackled the following mobile site issues head-on:
Solution - Sections Layouts
Using a Sections Layout gives you more control over your design...and a more consistent arrangement of content on all devices.
When you create individual content sections each section acts as a group. This means each section will stack in the order you've designated, regardless of the size of screen.
Solution - Improved mobile nav
Before this update, your site's mobile nav menu only displayed your main (first level) navigation items (and not any subpages). Visitors would need to navigate to subpages (i.e., second and third level pages) using the navigation menu on the page itself.
Now, the mobile nav interactively expands to display second and third level subpages. Since these items can be accessed directly from the mobile nav menu, we've removed the navigation menu from the page itself. That means your page content will appear front and center; no more scrolling through the navigation menu to see content.
The mobile nav update is already live on your website! No action is required on your part.

During our recent eCatholic Summit (a monthly team-building event), we delved into some deep topics.
Each month, Doug and Seton have prepared thought-provoking discussions that we have discussed in small groups. The point of the exercise is to consider your own approach to a series of "agree or disagree" statements. In the process, we've learned from our teammates' perspectives.
These fun guided conversations have been a great way to understand each other beyond daily tasks and talents.
Have you ever challenged your own team with some thought-provoking questions?
