We love creating products that are fully receptive to your needs. It’s what makes being an eCatholic user feel more like being part of the family. This is exactly why we hit the drawing board to fulfill some donation form requests with these latest upgrades.
So log into your admin portal and check out these new changes to your Online Giving forms…
A service fee offset option is a new feature that can be turned on in a form’s settings so anyone completing a submission can choose if they would like to offset credit card or transaction fees by adding a little more to their transaction amount.
Quarterly and annual recurring are two more options when selecting a gift’s frequency. Now, recurring gifts can happen weekly, monthly, quarterly, or annually. This is perfect for renewing annual memberships to ministry groups, or processing student tuition payments.
Refreshed styling offers form details segmented into amount, schedule, details, billing information, and summary categories. As information appears more organized, it’s also more reflective of a website theme while pulling in theme-specific detailing for a truly uniformed look. Other fun treats include a new way for entering an “other” amount, as well as additional summary text within a form to clarify information prior to submission.
Updated form settings now include a "Recurring Payments" tab for easily finding specific recurring options to enable on each form.

We’re always improving! Here are updates we've made to existing features and functionality.
Sometimes a little more room to say exactly what you need can make all the difference. Already available in the settings feature of most section types, is the new “Additional Text” option. Now you can immediately have another field above a section for more space to say exactly what you want, or just to add a little more.

We've added another design tool to your box! Alternate font options are a great way to select a typeface that coordinates best with your brand. Access these options under the settings of the more recent theme choices when in the Design Studio. Choose from about three different font options, and style your favorite theme to look just how you want.

It’s no secret that we love telling the eCatholic story, because it is inspiring for many who have worked for Church organizations. Most recently, eCatholic’s Chief Revenue Officer and senior evangelist, Joe Garcia, took to the airways to talk about technology and the Church's mission.
In a world where technology is rapidly growing, Church organizations are discovering more ways to evangelize and engage beyond the parish bulletin or newspaper. Technology can be a huge benefit for engaging people with the Catholic faith, but it can also appear overwhelming at times with no idea where to start or what route to take.
Host of the Catholic Current, a vibrant faith radio show catching the attention of thousands of podcast listeners, Fr. Robert McTeigue, S.J. speaks with eCatholic's Joe Garcia about some of those benefits as well as challenges.
We are especially thankful for Fr. Robert McTeigue, S.J. and those helping share the faith throughout the world … just like all our eCatholic users with their ministries and websites! Check out the recording of this podcast and hear what Father and Joe had to say about the transforming world of technology and how Church organizations are rising above.
